The ISO 27701 standard has been in place since 2019, and a new version is on its way. What does this standard cover? What is its connection with other ISO standards, such as ISO 27001? Is it an effective method for implementing GDPR compliance in organizations? These topics, among others, will be discussed during the webinar.

Speaker: Jolien Ghyselinck and Kris Christiaens

Kris Christiaens: Inspector/auditor at the Data Protection Authority. Previously, he worked for the Flemish Government as an IT project manager, service manager, IT coordinator, and enterprise architect. He is passionate about IT governance, process frameworks, methodologies, and other approaches to translating today’s complexity into efficient and manageable IT systems.

Jolien Ghyselinck: DPO at the National Institute for Criminalistics and Criminology (NICC) and board member of dpo pro. Before her career at NICC, where she also holds a specific role as a data protection officer for DNA research in criminal cases, Jolien was the DPO for several other government-funded institutions under the jurisdiction of the Chamber of Representatives, including the Data Protection Authority (DPA).
