Save the Date – dpo connect Launch of the interactive communication platform for DPOs

Welcome to the official presentation of dpo connect, the first interactive communication platform for DPOs in Belgium on the 21^st of September.

We will explain the functioning and the advantages of this platform which was set up by the Data Protection Authority (DPA) in collaboration with dpo pro and the Vrije Universiteit Brussels (VUB) with the support of the European Commission.

The platform has multiple functionalities that will allow DPOs to exchange knowledge and best practices with each other, and receive answers to their questions. In this way, we will also keep you up to date with developments in the field of data protection.

dpo connect is aimed at the community of DPOs and other privacy professionals in Belgium working in both the public and private sectors. This community includes officially appointed DPOs as well as other privacy professionals who perform similar tasks to DPOs, but without the official title.

David Stevens, President of the DPA, and the specialists from dpo pro and the VUB who have worked on the creation of this platform, invite you to attend this back-to-school event, either in person at the FEB premises or by videoconference.
